Try this: point to the moment where you actually weighed one idea against another and changed or sharpened your view. Write “I demonstrated critical thinking when I…” and finish it with that specific instance. I'll check it shows the outcome rather than naming it, and that it's pitched at the right level.
The tutor questions, diagnoses and teaches, but never writes your experience, feelings, insight or learning. That boundary is the whole point.
